A suburban New York woman who wrote a blog about motherhood was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison by a judge on Wednesday for murdering her 5-year-old son through salt poisoning so she could use his illness to gain social media attention. A mother who was convicted of poisoning and killing her 5-year-old son who died in Westchester was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison in State Supreme Court in White Plains on Wednesday, according to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore.
