A White Plains man was arrested Wednesday after police said he had sex with a 12-year-old girl.
Ivan Alonzo-Ramirez, 18, of 23 Washington Ave., was charged with first-degree rape, a felony, after police picked him up at his home.
His arrest came after cops were contacted by the girl's mother, who said she found out that her daughter skipped school on Monday and spent the day at Alonzo-Ramirez' apartment. The mom confronted her daughter and Ramirez, and told police they both admitted to having sex.
Cops said Alonzo-Ramirez told them the girl was his girlfriend and that she had told him that she was 15.
