The Westchester County Soil and Water Conservation District and Department of Planning will present a half-day seminar titled "Designing Environmentally Sound Landscapes" on Friday, Dec. 13. The workshop is at the Westchester County Center in White Plains and will run from 8:45 a.m. until 1 p.m., with breakfast and registration beginning at 8 a.m.
