Stephen Schiavone of White Plains has been selected as the assistant captain of the 2015 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute baseball team. Schiavone is a right-handed pitcher from White Plains High School, who went 2-2 with a 6.59 earned average in 12 appearances last season.
