Heavy Rains and Severe Winds Expected in White Plains

A flood warning has been issued for White Plains implying that flooding is occurring or is imminent. The warning is in effect until 6 p.m. A wind advisory has been issued until 7 p.m. Winds speeds between 21 to 26 mph and gusts of up to 40 mph are expected late afternoon into the evening.The NWS has also stated that a flood watch remains in effect until later tonight with heavy rain of up to 2-3 inches at night.
