The L.A. Brennan Lower Hudson Chapter of the NYS Archaeological Association will host a lecture, "Is It There Or Not?" -- Searching for the NYC Farm Colony Potter's Field," at Croton Point Park's Nature Center on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The lecture will be presented by Carol S. Weed, senior project manager at VHB Engineering, and Alyssa Loorya, president of the New York Archaeological Council NYC chapter. VHB Engineering, Surveying and Landscape Architecture, P.C. , White Plains, and its consultant Chrysalis Archaeological Consultants, Inc. , Brooklyn, completed a Phase IA/IB archaeological assessment of parts of a 46-acre parcel owned by the City of New York.
