Settlement reached in suit over N.Y. teen swept out to sea

Tyler Madoff, 15, of White Plains, N.Y., was washed out to sea while taking a guided kayak tour off the southwestern coast of Hawaii island on July 4. Plaintiffs and defendants have settled a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the parents of a New York teenager swept out to sea during a Hawaii hiking and kayaking tour.
