Firefighters quickly extinguished a car fire Monday morning in a rear parking lot at 1133 Westchester Ave., behind the offices of The Journal News. The fire broke out at about 9:30 a.m., engulfing the car and damaging a car parked beside it. A fire official at the scene declined comment.
