WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Westchester strip club owner and newspaper publisher Selim "Sam" Zherka remains in jail awaiting trial on federal fraud charges, according to LoHud.com. U.S. District Judge Cathy Seibel denied Zherka's attorneys' request to release him on $2.5 million bail, referring to Zherka's alleged "contempt for the legal system" and extensive assets that make him a potential flight risk, according to LoHud.
