Granted Holiday on Monday, Feb. 2 for Successful Massive Drive that Addresses Critical Food Shortages at Local Food Pantries and Soup Kitchens PRLog - Jan. 29, 2015 - WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Stepinac High School students today learned that they had succeeded in meeting an annual challenge known as the Souper Bowl of collecting 25,000 cans of food and other food items by the deadline of Super Bowl Sunday. It was doubly great news for them because as a result of their successful efforts in the massive drive to help feed the hungry and homeless of all ages throughout Westchester and the Bronx, they had earned a day off from school.
