White Plains High School Grad Kaplan Appears On Big Screen In 'The Rewrite'

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Steven Kaplan, a 2006 graduate of White Plains High School, will appear on the big screen Friday as "The Rewrite" premieres in select theaters around the country and video-on-demand. Starring Hugh Grant, Marisa Tomei, J.K. Simmons and Allison Janney and directed by Marc Lawrence, The Rewrite is about an Oscar-winning writer in a slump who leaves Hollywood to teach screenwriting at Binghamton University, where he falls for a single mom taking classes there.
