WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. The White Plains Public Library is hosting a talk by its librarian for White Plains history on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Since being hired in 2014, Himmelfarb has been building the library's local history collection and leading various history programs. After graduating from Purchase College, Ben enrolled at the University of Albany where he earned master's degrees in history and information science.
