She earned a master's degree in engineering from Manhattan College, becoming a licensed professional engineer and serving with the National Society of Professional Engineers and the New York Chapter of Professional Engineers. Doyle also worked as a program administrator in Westchester County for over 29 years with the Health Department and Department of Environmental Facilities.
