The White Plains Recreation and Parks Department hosted its fourth annual USTA "Compete in the Parks" tennis tournament at the City's Gillie tennis courts this past weekend, September 20-21. The "Compete in the Park Series" is a USTA program designed to promote recreational tennis for players of all levels and exposed many to tournament tennis play for the first time.
