Eight months after agreeing to a mutually beneficial partnership, Montefiore Health System and White Plains Hospital announced on Oct. 2, 2014 that their agreement has been approved by the New York State Public Health and Health Planning Council. Final approval by the State Health Commissioner is expected before the end of October, and once the partnership agreement is filed with the Secretary of State, the transaction will be complete.
