WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Although a late rally fell short, the Westchester County Center in White Plains was rocking on Wednesday, when the Westchester Knicks were welcomed by a raucous crowd in their home opener. The Westchester Knicks may have fallen 88-84 to the Canton Charge in their first game, but local residents enthusiastically enjoyed having a professional basketball experience without having to travel to Manhattan.
