Raina Kadavil, a White Plains High School senior, was recognized as the City of White Plains Youth of the Year 2014 on Monday, Nov. 3, during a Common Council meeting. Politicians and business executives attended a grand opening and ribbon-cutting Wednesday, Nov. 12, at La Gianna, a 56-unit luxury rental property at 10 DeKalb Ave. in White Plains.
