Mount Vernon resident Robert Berry was arrested by White Plains police Tuesday in connection with the theft of $90,000 from an unlocked safe at USA Pro Auto Shop on Mamaroneck Avenue, according to authorities. The case was widely reported in area media because Berry was described as "well-dressed" because he was wearing a shirt, tie and nice jacket.
