In recognition of September as Feeding America's Hunger Action Month, the Food Bank for Westchester joined with its friends, supporters and staff to announce the launch of Go Orange to End Hunger, a month-long campaign to focus awareness on the subject of hunger in Westchester. Friends and supporters included Shawn Patterson Howard, CEO of Yonkers Family YMCA; George Oros, Chief of Staff, Westchester County Executive's Office; Taryn Duffy, Director of Public Affairs, Empire City Casino; State Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins; Ted Hevelka, Campus Operating Officer at Berkeley College, White Plains; and Rick Rakow, Food Bank for Westchester Board Chairman.
