MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. Two Mount Vernon residents remain displaced after a quick moving, three-alarm fire tore through a mixed-use building on Friday night. Fire broke out in the three-story North Bond Street building shortly after 5 p.m., where it quickly spread, prompting response from the Yonkers, Mount Vernon, White Plains and Pelham Fire Departments.
